Kirkland, Ohio was by far the deep well where the Saints drank from the waters of revelation. The restored town of Kirkland, including the Newel K. Whitney Store, the Temple, the sandstone quarry are all wonderful spiritual treats. However, when you come here, don't forget the John Johnson home in Hiram. While overlooked by many, a real cornerstone to the restoration.

Today we spent our time in and around Kirkland. It was a great time spent with our group and with the site missionaries. Sister missionaries are now stationed at most Church historical sites and carry a good portion of the tour responsibilities. The missionaries of the Church bear strong witness to the truths of the restoration. What a blessed spirit they bring to these hallowed spots. Can't wait to join them.
